We impatiently waited for Dr. Sauter's office to call us this morning to see how Jimmy was doing after the weekend. Finally Jim called them and let them know. At 2:30 we were told to go to the ER at MSK and a surgeon was going to look at his arm. Literally 8 hours later we are still here. They have decided to admit him and we are waiting for a bed. Two surgeons on call saw him and examined him with an ultrasound. After discussing things with Dr. Sauter they decided to do a CT scan and admit him. I was glad about the admission. He will be on the lymphoma floor on Dr. Horwitz's team. It will be good for Jim to have lots of eyes on him and the whole team to figure out what the "infection" is and how best to treat it.
So we are sitting in the waiting room watching the final NCAA basketball tournament. Luckily most everyone else has gone home. We wait for admission.
